Job Title: Customer Service Associate

Reports to: Assistant Store Manager – Sales Floor

FLSA Status: Part-time – Non-Exempt (32-hour week) (Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday (from 9:30 am-6:00 pm)

Job Location: ReStore (7141 Harrison Avenue, Rockford, IL 61112)

Salary Range: $14 HR

Job Summary: Assist ReStore Customers by providing excellent customer service.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers/donors as they enter the ReStore.
• Assist customers by answering questions they have.
• Enhance customer shopping experience by assisting with measurements and providing carts for loading.
• Issue hold tags and sold tags as necessary.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers and donors with their questions.
• Help maintain cleanliness and safety of the sales floor.
• Resolve customer complaints and ask for assistance when needed. 
• Stock donations on the sales floor once processed and priced by receiving. 
• Arrange donations aesthetically in correct department.
• Address potential hazards on the sales floor in an expedient manner. 
• Monitor the sales floor for theft.

Skills Required

• Must be able to effectively communicate with customers.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Must have problem solving skills.
• Must have good time management skills and be flexible to juggle an ever-changing environment.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds and handle the physical nature of the position.
