Looking for Experienced Mechanics to Join Our Team in Bronx, NY!
Are you skilled in maintaining commercial trucks, refrigeration trucks and trailer units?
We're seeking Several Experienced Diesel & Reefer Mechanics to join our team at our Bronx, NY facility. As a Truck Mechanic/Reefer, you'll be responsible for fleet repairs and maintenance, including diagnosing issues, performing preventative maintenance, and conducting safety inspections.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience diagnosing and troubleshooting malfunctions.
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and major repairs.
- Diagnose and repair/rebuild diesel engines.
- Experience maintaining work orders and conducting annual inspections.
- Perform roadside repairs when necessary.
- 608/609 certification preferred or willingness to obtain post-hiring.
- Experience performing inspection and maintenance on refrigeration units.
- Proficiency in electrical repairs, including rebuilding or replacing components.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
- Strong documentation skills for maintaining repair orders and documentation.
- Must have your own basic set of tools and basic computer skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet repair deadlines.
- Should have a CLD or be willing to obtain a CDL within 6 months after being hired.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly wage: $33/hr. – $37, depending on experience, certification, and qualifications.
- Comprehensive benefits package including Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, Life Insurance, PTO, Paid Holidays, uniform, and specialty tools provided.
Shift:
Days, 7 AM to 3:30 PM or 10 AM to 6:30 PM Monday – Friday.
