Industrial Melting Furnace (IMF) Operator

This is a 12-hour shift position with rotating days off 5a-5p
We are looking for professionals to join our Byhalia, MS team as an IMF Furnace Operator . Furnace Operators are important members of the team, responsible for operating and maintaining the IMF Furnace while maintaining high standards expected related to Safety and Quality.

- A high level of concentration
- Ability to operate production equipment in a safe, effective and efficient manner
- Experience in machine set-up and computers
- Experience trouble shooting equipment
- Ability to read and understand written product specifications
- Drive and understanding key figures and how to maximize output
- Work well under pressure with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated with high energy
- Good people skills
- Well organized
- Able to lift 60lbs independently or 120lbs with a colleague
- Curiosity to learn how to melt stone into lava!
Essential Functions :
- Run and monitor all process equipment required in the Industrial Melting Furnace (IMF) area
- Maintain steady uninterrupted flow of melt and binder to the spinners
- Maintain a clean safe work area, reporting any problems to management immediately
