We are looking for a Senior Buyer to join our Rockfon team in Chicago, IL. In this position you will support and execute the day-to-day purchasing of direct production materials required for their designated the Chicago facility. What you will be doing: Manage direct material procurement and strategic purchase planning for designated factories. Execute Purchase Orders seamlessly within the ERP system, expedite back orders, and maintain a streamlined ordering process, ensuring ERP system integrity. Oversee inventory management of all designated direct materials. Follow up on goods receipt. Serve as the primary point of contact for invoice inquiries. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for Material Planning within the region. Contribute to supplier performance evaluations to drive continuous improvement. Provide support for indirect purchasing needs across RW-RFNA facilities. Handle minor claims within the regional area in alignment with the Category Manager. Maintain operational efficiency and foster collaboration with stakeholders. Act as the SAP Super User representing RW-RFNA, ensuring system proficiency. Fulfill additional responsibilities as required. Some travel required. What you bring: 5 years Industrial purchasing experience College Degree preferred. Excellent communication skills Plans and organizes their own work effectively and actively engages with their stakeholders.
