We are looking for an upbeat, friendly person to complement our two eyecare offices. The position requires optician/technician work in a busy optical/optometry office in Millcreek UT and Kimball Junction, 25 minutes up Parley's canyon. A background in optometric work is preferred but on site training can be done. At least a high school diploma or higher is recommended. The applicant needs to be comfortable with custom service and be willing to be flexible with various jobs in the office. Optician work requires assisting patients selecting, ordering and managing vision plans. Technician work involves pretesting, taking measurements, inputting information into a Electronic Health Record and assisting the doctor in whatever task is needed. The individual needs to be able to work well with customs and staff. The position hours are Monday - Thursday at our Kimball Junction office 8:30am-5 pm, Friday from 8-5pm at our Millcreek office.
