Job DescriptionThe Service Technician provides assistant and support to the Service Manager in all areas of community maintenance. As a Service Technician, you play a vital role in maintaining the physical condition of the community, completing resident work orders, maintaining curb appeal, and completing the turnover process for new move ins! Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities
Ensure all maintenance work orders are completed within a timely manner
Maintain property ground through daily inspections and preventative care
Assist with the turnover procedure including painting, cleaning, and general maintenance
Services residents with outstanding customer service
Maintain pool and pool area and its operations if applicable
Keep the maintenance shop neat, clean, and safe
Snow removal as needed
Understand and comply with Workers Compensation and OSHA Safety rules
Act in accordance with company procedures and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing Requirements
Must be able to work an on-call rotation schedule for maintenance emergencies
Required Skills & Functions
High school diploma or equivalent
1 year experience in multi-family residential property management preferred
Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds and navigate stairs and ladders easily
HVAC, boiler, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair experience preferred
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
