A Day in the Life of an Accounting Manager
You are at the forefront of analyzing financial data andoversee the maintenance, interpretation
and analysis of general ledger accounts. You lead, support,and mentor your team to achieve
the monthly closing, account reconciliations, and createfinancial reports. You use programs
such as Vantagepoint/large ERP systems. You perform yourduties with a high degree of
integrity and accuracy and assist your team with everythingfrom timesheet postings to income
tax filings. Your work can be challenging, but you are partof a close-knit and exceptional team.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of educationand experience
• Most candidates will achieve the necessary skill levelafter 7 years of experience in
project-based accounting environment
• 3 years of supervisory experience
• A solid knowledge of generally accepted accountingprinciples
• Proficiency working in Deltek ERP application suite suchas Vision, Costpoint or
Vantagepoint
• A working knowledge of FAR and CAS
• A working knowledge in multi-state and multicurrencypayroll
• Experience in the A E industry preferred
