A non-profit healthcare organization is seeking to hire a Payroll & Benefits Specialist. In this seat, you will be responsible for processing payroll for about 250 employees using ADP Workforce Now. Ideally, looking for a candidate who has worked at a smaller company where they were the ones processing payroll on a biweekly basis. Union experience is nice to have, but not required. The right person for this position has used ADP Workforce Now, has 3 years of payroll experience (ideally in a standalone capacity), and has related industry experience.

Responsibilities:

• Own full cycle payroll for the ~250 employee organization using ADP Workforce Now
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to positions and pay rates.
• Administer various employee benefit programs such as group health, flexible spending accounts, dental and vision, life insurance, 403(b).
• Participate in new hire onboarding by providing a comprehensive overview of PPLM’s benefits offerings.

Experience:

• 3 years of payroll experience ideally in a standalone capacity
• ADP Workforce Now experience required
• Healthcare industry experience preferred but not required
• Strong understanding of financial concepts related to employee benefits
• Experience in benefits administration, including enrollment processes and vendor management
