Roessel Joy has partnered with a local family office firm that is looking to hire a Tax Manager. An ideal candidate would have 5 years of Tax Manager. This position would report directly to the owner. This position would be 2 days in office and 3 days remote. This is a great opportunity for any experienced Tax professional to join a company that has great industry longevity.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and file state and federal income tax returns for all the clients efficiently
Calculate estimated quarterly state and federal income taxes clients
Calculate and pay state and federal payroll taxes, including applicable unemployment taxes, pertaining to Clients' household employees
Generate and mail annual form w-2 to employees and file corresponding documentation with social security administration
Remain updated and proficient in state and federal tax requirements of all clients
Qualifications:
B.S in Accounting or Finance
5 years of Tax Management Experience
Experience with ATX Max and QuickBooks Preferred
Experience with preparing filing state and tax returns
