Join Our Team of Experienced Therapists and Make a Real Impact!

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Therapist to develop, coordinate, and facilitate direct social services to patients and their families in an acute care setting. This includes partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services. If you are passionate about making a difference and have the expertise to support patients through their recovery journey, we want to hear from you!

Schedule:

  • Full-time, 40 hours/week
  • Weekday Shifts: 11am-7pm
  • Rotating Weekend Shifts: 8am-4:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Social Services: Offer therapeutic treatment services to individuals, groups, families, and significant others.
  • Crisis Intervention: Assess for safety daily and provide crisis intervention as needed.
  • Case Management: Manage patient care plans and act as a patient advocate.
  • Documentation: Complete all required documentation, including admissions, treatment, and discharge documentation.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership in implementing clinical interventions and evaluate interdisciplinary interventions.
  • Professional Communication: Maintain professional and accurate communication with patients, families, and team members.

Education/Training Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, or a related field, from an accredited school.
  • In-training as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-IT), Marriage and Family Therapist Training License (MFT-TL), Social Worker Training Certificate (SWTC), Advance Practice Social Work (APSW), or equivalent.
  • A SAC-IT, SAC, or CSAC required in WI.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic intervention techniques for all age groups.
  • American Red Cross Professional Rescue certification within 30 days of hire; bi-annual re-certification required.
  • Formal training in the management of aggressive patients (NCI) within 60 days of hire; annual re-certification required.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Complete safety plans, treatment goals, and intervention documentation.
  • Conduct psychoeducational support sessions with patients and their families.
  • Maintain professional conduct and adhere to the organization's policies and procedures.
  • Participate in staff meetings, supervision meetings, and in-service training.
