RFA Engineering (www.rfamec.com) is an engineering service provider dedicated to delivering our clients with timely engineering support and expertise. We are seeking a growth-oriented candidate to become an integral part of our engineering team. The selected candidate will work with an experienced engineering staff using state-of-the-art engineering tools & processes. This position will operate onsite at our customer's parts facility in Champaign, IL.

Packaging Engineer - Entry Level
In this role, you will design and develop returnable and expendable packaging for individual piece parts and bulk shipping to ensure the timely and efficient receipt and delivery of material. This position would be onsite 5 days a week, with occasional flexibility to be remote as needed.

Knowledge and understanding of 6 Sigma project management principles.
Develop and deploy creative / original solutions to complex problems.
Experience within operations at a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge and experience with Pack Assistant and Teamcenter.
Familiar with company policies and procedures with a strong department background.
Additional packaging design experience in automotive or similar industry.
Creo or Solid Works Packaging Modeling Experience.
