Responsibilities for this position are, but not limited to :

• Complete labor tasks around the mill
• Operate broom and skid steer to clean up milled surfaces
• Assists operating an asphalt mill and related heavy equipment safely and appropriately for varied conditions and situations
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks, cleaning, and greasing, etc.
• Operate with a priority of job safety for all persons working around the equipment
• Communicate clearly with crew-members to work as a team
• Work with the team to provide a fully prepared site for the paving crew

Qualifications :

• MUST have milling experience and operating a milling machine
• General and applied knowledge of the paving process and proper procedures for quality finished work
• Must be dependable and show up for all assigned shifts
• Able and willing to work outdoors in extreme heat and cold for extended shifts
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and overtime as required
• Must have valid drivers license and clean driving record
