Rogue Valley Manor is Hiring a Human Resources Assistant Near Medford, OR

Overview:

Rogue Valley Manor, Southern Oregons premier upscale senior living community, is seeking a Human Resources Assistant , preferably with 1 year of experience in human resources for residential living, hotel, healthcare, senior living or other hospitality settings to support our Human Resources team.

Rogue Valley Manor, is proud to be Southern Oregons premier not-for-profit Life Plan Community. The Manor is a
thriving, bustling village of nearly 1,000 incredible residents, with a sprawling, magnificent 668-acre campus thats full of
active, engaging ways for residents to spend their time. Our campus offers residents delicious dining and a continuum of
healthcare including Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Nursing.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist with major projects to keep department running efficiently and in compliance
  • Oversee all employee files and records and update reporting and tracking for licenses, attendance, training, etc.
  • Support recruiting and onboarding activities by checking references, sending out offer and rejection letters, answering to job inquiries, and completing onboarding paperwork
  • Support employee engagement activities and events
  • Complete department administrative duties such as ordering supplies, answering phone calls, writing and distributing memos, and completing paperwork
  • Provide ongoing support and resources to employees including greeting employees, answer telephones and responding to inquiries about job openings, applications, references, employment verifications, etc.
  • Deliver information and assistance to employees, with a high level of interpersonal tact, in person, via phone, memo, fax, e-mail, text and provide resources as necessary/requested.
  • Distribute employee memos/notices as assigned. May update employee communication boards, digital signage.
  • Oversee the organization of employee files and ensure updates are performed on a regular basis, consistent with organizational standards. May support tracking time attendance records.
  • Assist in planning and organizing employee appreciation functions and events.
  • Maintain a tracking system to monitor due dates for evaluations, Tuberculosis (TBs) tests, licenses, I-9s etc.
  • Assist in conducting wage surveys. Input approved wage increases and status changes into Human Resources Information System (HRIS) system.
  • Support and/or conduct employee onboarding and orientation activities as needed.
  • Assist in facilitating employee pulse surveys and exit interviews.
  • Notify HR team of changes regarding I-9 compliance.
  • Assist the HR team with benefit projects, open enrollment, benefit census, and report generation.
  • Assist the HR team, hiring managers and recruiters with recruitment activities.

About You:

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience performing clerical office work.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs, HRIS and time and attendance system, and other relevant business applications.
  • Professional phone skills and proficiency in use of office equipment.

Schedule: M-F;8am-5pm
