Rohadfox Construction Control Services is actively seeking a Project Engineer to join our team working on the1o year Joint Venture, Atlanta Airport project! Job Summary- Coordinates work of various contracts as assigned, evaluates contract issues such as pay applications, changes, punchlists and closeout activities.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
• Safety Training (minimum OSHA 10 Hour
• Minimum of five (5) to ten (10 ) years’ experience in the administration of office and document processing for a construction contract.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations -- interpersonal skills and leadership skills.
• Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Suites specifically Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
• Working knowledge of PMWEB, Primavera (P6), and Welcom Cobra
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and contract.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Must be able to commute or be relocated to the Atlanta Metro area

Previous Airport experience a plus but not required

EDUCATION

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management

CERTIFICATION/TRAINING

Safety Training (minimum OSHA 10 Hour)

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of five (5) to ten (10 )years’ experience in the administration of office and document processing for a construction contract.

WHAT WE ARE EXPECTING OF YOU:

Ø Support in coordinating the efforts of the contractors.

Ø Assists in the development and maintenance of the contract Document Control files on site, if any.

Ø Assist in the evaluation of progress and quality of construction activities in conformance with approved schedules and budgets.

Ø Review progress payments.

Ø Review bid package documents as issued by design consultants for omissions, clarifications required, and for coordination between design disciplines.

Ø Assist Resident Engineer, or direct supervisor, in weekly construction meetings.

Ø Expedite resolution of construction problems.

Ø Obtain Daily Reports from all contractors and inspectors.

Ø Assist the Resident Engineer, or direct supervisor, in the preparation of the Resident Engineer’s Weekly Report.

Ø Maintain contract Quantity Book, change management control logs, submittal and RFI logs.

Ø Establish that insurance, bonding and contracts requirements are properly executed and maintained.

Ø Prepare documents, letters, reports meeting minutes as required by Resident Engineer, or direct supervisor.

Ø Participates in negotiations, preparation of and review all Change Orders.

Ø Monitor project close out and client occupancy.

Ø Other tasks as may be assigned.
