Job Title: Litigation Paralegal

Company: Roitman Legal

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada (Hybrid)

Job Type: Part-Time (10 - 20 hours per week)

Salary: $20 - $30 per hour based on experience

Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Paralegal with experience in litigation and a strong understanding of Nevada law, rules of civil procedure, and litigation generally. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

While we prefer candidates who can work at least two days a week in the Las Vegas office, we are open to considering remote candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for litigation matters
  • Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and court filings
  • Assist in document management, review, and discovery
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings
  • Manage case files and maintain organized records
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court officials as needed
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scheduling, and managing deadlines
  • Ensure compliance with Nevada state laws and civil procedures

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher in Paralegal Studies or related field
  • Certification from an accredited paralegal program is preferred
  • Experience working as a litigation paralegal
  • Proficiency in Clio and legal research databases
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • In-depth knowledge of Nevada law and rules of civil procedure
