Responsibilities
- Develop electrical assembly and routing drawings, schematics, and custom control panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Collaborate with engineers and other designers to ensure electrical systems meet project requirements.
- Review and interpret electrical specifications and schematics.
- Conduct electrical calculations to determine proper wire sizing, voltage drops, and component selection.
- Maintain and update electrical design documents as needed.
- May participate in site visits and provide technical support during installation.
- Associate's Degree (AAS) in Electrical Drafting/Design preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience creating electrical assembly plans and schematics.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical software.
- Solid understanding of electrical codes and standards (NFPA 70, etc.).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated history of employment stability.
