Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and motivated Cyber Security Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cyber security and risk assessments, with a passion for protecting information assets and ensuring the security of our clients’ systems. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely, but we prefer candidates who are local to the Melbourne, Florida area for occasional on-site collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough cyber security risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
  • Monitor and analyze security incidents to identify and respond to threats in a timely manner
  • Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption protocols
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure IT infrastructure and applications
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address potential security gaps
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber security trends, threats, and technologies to proactively protect against emerging risks
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of security policies, procedures, and incident reports
  • Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees and clients
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Cyber Security Analyst or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
  • Proficiency in security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, antivirus)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients and team members
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus
