TECHNICAL WRITER, ITIL CERTIFIED
This is a W-2 position in Crystal City, VA (possible hybrid) at the F-35 Joint Program Office(For public transit: Crystal City is the closest Metro station on the blue and yellow line.)

The Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) F-35 IT program support contract provides knowledge-based, information assurance and cybersecurity IT services to the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (JPO). Our services include program management, enterprise performance management, enterprise architecture, implementation of emerging capabilities and requirements, life cycle management, operations and maintenance, enterprise data management, service desk support, and IT training.
The position entails the following responsibilities:
Skills and Abilities Qualifications:
- Must possess effective written communication skills, including formatting and grammar.
- Comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of technical research and writing.
- Proficiency in using various word-processing and/or desktop publishing software applications.
- Familiarity with the remediation of technical documentation to meet accessibility standards, such as 508 compliance.
Additional Considerations:
- Preference for experience with a human-centered design approach.
- Background in DoD IT operations and/or government contracting is advantageous.

Minimum Education Required:
- BA/BS degree.
- ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: Six (6) years of related experience or four (4) years of related experience with an AA/AS degree.
Minimum Experience Required:
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience in management, technical, or business analysis disciplines.
- Experience in analyzing program/project status and providing supportive documentation for projects/programs.
- Familiarity with ITSM-based services.
- ITIL Foundation Certification is required.
