Job DescriptionGeneral Description: The project manager must have the ability to supervise and direct a wide range of objectives from start to finish. This person will organize and oversee RoofCARE’s procedures and processes to ensure the job is completed in a timely, efficiently, safe, and in a high-quality workmanship manner. The project manager needs to be well-versed in all aspects of roofing/ construction to include project management, coordination, and up sales. The project manager must coordinate with customers, RoofCARE staff, and material vendors in order to produce high-quality projects in a safe and efficient manner.
The project manager must be analytical, proactive, detail-oriented, have outstanding organizational skills, and a firm understanding of basic budgetary and estimating practices. Computer skills are essential in this position as the job requires details and precise data entry into the company’s CRM.
Production – The major focus of production management is to continuously determine methods to streamline processes, keep the operational cost down, decrease errors, and lift team members to the highest quality standards to meet deadlines and goals by providing employees with the right tools, equipment, and materials. A major responsibility of the position is that of personnel management including technicians and supervisors. Other duties may include job and crew scheduling, material and equipment inventory, fleet management, and use and training of software products.
Safety – Roofing is inherently hazardous, but roofing workers’ safety is paramount to RoofCARE’s operation. There are numerous ways to reduce work-site injuries, and company safety programs provide ongoing training to ensure success. All roofing practices have been analyzed to determine how improved safety methods will contribute to worker health and safety. The project manager must ensure all field safety regulations and policies are correctly followed and adhered to. Safety is always the number one priority of this position.
Sales – The project manager is also responsible for upsells and is consistently in search of and on the lookout for new and potential customers and projects that meet RoofCARE’s preferred/target customer base. Proposal estimating and assistance with team member sales by participating in ride-along, team selling, presentations, networking, and sales strategy. Maintains a professional and technically savvy team by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional and industrial functions and associations. Safeguards long-term client relationships by providing professional technical roofing advice and world-class customer service. Proficiency with RoofCARE’s sales system is mandatory.

Four New Mexico locations to serve you – Albuquerque, Las Cruces, Santa Fe, and Carlsbad.

Skills And Knowledge Requirements
- Proven 3-5 years of roofing knowledge/experience. Can be in a related industry
- Must be physically fit to set up, climb ladders daily.
- Knowledgeable/experience in construction OSHA standards
- Mechanically inclined (Equipment/Tools)
- Knowledgeable with most roof types
- Understanding of Upsell process and proposal writing
- Must be able to communicate and negotiate both verbally and in written form
- In-depth knowledge of project management principles
- Managerial experience overseeing projects
- Standard safety weather principals
- Excellent leadership, organizational, planning, and time-management skills
- Familiarity with construction CRM software
- Knowledgeable in MS & Google Suites
- Must be able to travel and stay as needed
- Weather observation fundamentals
- Qualifying candidates will be requested to take an assessment test
- Must have a valid drivers’ license
- Must pass background
- Must pass drug test
