- Develop and implement technology plans in line with company objectives
- Oversee Managed Service Provider selection and relationship
- Orchestrate and guide full-scale 0365 migration
DUTIES
- Work with organizational leaders to develop technology plans, policies, and procedures that align with company goals, initiatives, and standards.
- Oversee the evaluation, development, and recommendation of IT solutions specific to the entire organization and specific IT solutions for individual departments.
- Select and manage effective working relations with a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
- Plan and execute O365 cloud migration.
- Oversee ERP functions to ensure sustainable support.
- Manage a small IT team.
- Manage IT capital and expense budgets.
- Guide IT disaster/recovery business continuation planning and testing.
- Manage relationships with IT vendors to ensure cost-effective IT services and purchases.
- Participate in all lean initiatives where IT solutions are impacted.
- Oversee IT security processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Stay updated on emerging IT technologies and determine adoption feasibility.
- Guide any recommended training for end users on IT solutions.
- BS/BA in Information Technology or related field.
- 3-5 years of IT Director experience.
- Proven experience with an O365 Migration.
- Knowledge and experience in supporting an ERP system.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Outstanding communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Exhibit a high degree of Emotional Intelligence with the ability to influence others, demonstrate decision-making capabilities, and display effective personal presence.
- Strong strategic and business acumen.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
