Job Description
***Only qualified Regulatory Program Manager candidates located near the Tampa, FL area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***
The Regulatory Program Manager is responsible for the management of technology projects within the regulatory program management team and support the governance of tech regulatory programs for Information Services Group Data Engineering (Client). S/He will partner with key internal stakeholders (Within Client and outside of Client) to drive end-to-end program / project management for all regulatory programs and ensures Client meets the Regulator’s timelines and standard.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading project management including tracking and reporting, process improvement and change management. Excellent communication skills required to negotiate internally. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and convince others, in particular colleagues across Client team and outside. Knowledge and experience in Regulatory domain will be an advantage.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Essential Qualifications:
• 4 years of experience in Project / Program management, strategy development and execution, ability to engage with several working groups, lead and manage simultaneous projects
• Business Domain knowledge (Capital Markets, Cash, Derivatives, Money Markets covering cross asset product groups Rates, FX, Credit, Equities, Commodities & GSP)
• 4 years of financial industry experience
• A track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional, projects.
• Communication skills and experience working with technical and business management teams.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills along with multi-tasking capabilities to get things done in an environment.
• Self-initiate, work productively when unsupervised and multitask across multiple concurrent projects
• Demonstrates strong cross functional leadership to aligning process, projects, and people to meet business goals in a cross-functional team setting
• Advanced excel and PowerPoint skills with demonstrated ability to transfer data into compelling presentations
• Experience in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including Agile project work, JIRA and managing Confluence
• Demonstrates clear understanding of the drivers of performance and decision making to maximize results. Strategic thinker with proven ability to operationalize the strategy
• This person should have an eye for detail and have ability to review project updates, plans, etc. and identify gaps / mistakes
Desirable:
• Subject matter expert in Regulatory Program Management
Responsibilities:
• Support / manage high priority regulatory projects across their lifecycle by identifying and structuring problems, analyzing requirements, project scope and planning, communicating project deliverables and working cross Client team to implement the regulatory mandate within the timeline
• Define project scope and objectives, gather, analyze, validate, and manage project requirements
• Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives for complex, high impact regulatory requirements and implementation framework through in-depth analysis and evaluation of regulatory mandate, systems and industry standards, and produce clear requirements documents using a structured analysis methodology in collaboration with business, operations and technology team
• Support Client Data Engineering Regulatory program governance – Coordinate with project managers to collate status, review the status, prepare deck and other tasks required for the governance meeting
• Attend regulatory meetings as representative of the Client organization on regulatory matters. Record meeting summaries and follow-up actions for distribution to relevant stakeholders.
• Effectively partner with key stakeholders and subject matter experts across Technology / Client and Businesses to promote a more integrated approach to regulatory relations
• Drive tactical and strategic planning to ensure the program corrective actions plans are met. This includes identifications, documentation, reviews of multiple deliverables (Technology, businesses, Internal Audit, Risk etc.) before distributing to Regulators on a regular basis
• Maintain awareness of changing industry trends, competition and regulations that impact any phase of success of the lending business
• Implement controls to enhance integrity of key management reporting
• Identifies risks, communicates impact; proposes risk mitigation options
• This is a dynamic role and responsibilities within the PMO function will be assigned based on requirements
