Rosecrance is Hiring a Residential Treatment Unit Coordinator Near Rockford, IL

Exciting leadership opportunity in our adult residential program. As the Unit Coordinator you will provide and monitor continuity of residential unit services in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. The Unit Coordinator serves as the team leader in the delivery of addictions treatment services to clients, their families and facilitates the issues of recovery into their daily living situations.
Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:
  1. Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, or related field.
  2. Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) or LPC/LSW/LMFT within 12 months
  3. CPR and First Aid training or complete within three months.
  4. Valid driver's license
Essential Responsibilities:
  1. Work hours prescribed and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned.
  2. Supervise the Addiction Counselors/Therapists, and Unit Staff, including orientation, training, regular supervisory meetings and/or feedback, scheduled evaluations and disciplinary interventions as required.
  3. Prepare staff schedule to ensure adequate coverage of unit at all times.
  4. Assume responsibility for the physical maintenance of the unit and request necessary repairs or services from the Facilities Supervisor.
  5. Participate in the Performance Improvement and Utilization Review process and serve on committees as directed.
  6. Monitor and ensure that client service records are maintained consistent with rules and regulations.
  7. Consult with Administrative Team to develop policies, goals, objectives and procedures for the residential unit.
  8. Serve as a member of the Administrative Team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
  9. Understand and comply with all of the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
  10. Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
  11. Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.
  12. Assume other related responsibilities as assigned by management.
Schedule: 8 hour shifts
  • Day shift, 8:30am - 5:00pm
  • Sunday-Thursday
