Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Cost Accountant to join our team. As a Cost Accountant at RoseRyan, you will be responsible for analyzing and reporting cost data to support decision-making processes and optimize cost efficiencies for our clients. This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze cost data to determine the actual cost of production and services provided
- Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided to determine the effect on costs
- Prepare and present cost accounting reports and findings to clients and stakeholders
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend cost-effective solutions
- Participate in month-end closing process and account reconciliations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cost efficiencies
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant or similar role
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with teams
