RosettiStarr is Hiring an Administrative specialist Near Bethesda, MD

Job Description : The HR Administrative Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day HR and administration operations. This person will report directly to the Director of Administration.

Human Resources Responsibilities :

  • Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy. Particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Leads the recruiting efforts for the Company to include :
  • Keep up to date on best practices related to recruiting process, talent sourcing strategies and ways to improve efficiency of recruiting process
  • Design and implement creative and comprehensive recruiting strategies at the onset via internet-based job boards, social media, professional organizations, etc.
  • Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
  • Facilitates the employee hire process and new hire onboarding.
  • Provides HR assistance and guidance to company staff by listening and interpreting concerns and objectives and seeking solutions.
  • Creates learning and development programs for company administrative initiatives.
  • Manages employee benefits and annual renewals.
  • Maintains updated and accurate employee data.
  • Supports management through evaluation of employee performance.
  • Assists in the operation and development of employee centricity initiatives, including the company Mentorship Program.
  • Maintains and updates the employee handbook as needed.

Administration Responsibilities :

  • Maintains office supplies, kitchen supplies and laptops and and other computer related equipment as needed.
  • Maintains company LinkedIn page, updating on hiring events, new publications, and other public facing company initiatives.
  • Works with Director of Research to maintain, update, and track costs of critical research tools and databases.
  • Acts as primary liaison with building management.
  • Tracks and administers distribution of employee key fobs and works with internal security department to monitor facility access.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field preferred

  • Must have 2 years’ experience in HR and administration functions
  • Technology or Professional Services industry experience a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation and Benefits :

  • Health care (comprehensive benefits package to support employees and their families), 401K with profit sharing
  • Salary commensurate with experience ($65,000-$75,000 before bonus which is based on performance and eligibility)
