Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Foreman to oversee our construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership abilities, and a keen eye for detail. As a Construction Foreman at Rosewood Excavating, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors on-site.
• Ensure all work is completed according to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular safety meetings.
• Inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and ensure specifications are met.
• Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts that may arise, keeping project managers informed.
• Manage and maintain construction schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
• Order and manage materials and equipment needed for projects.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets the company’s standards.
• Train and mentor construction workers, promoting skill development and teamwork.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.

Preferred Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects, preferably in excavation or similar fields.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints.
• Familiarity with construction management software and tools is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
