Responsibilities:
Commercial HVAC Maintenance Tech with Refrigeration working with Installation & repair of Commercial Heating and Cooling systems, Electrical components (wiring, AC / DC with single and 3 phase components)
Refrigeration cycling & components air cooled, water cooled,
Able to perform equipment Startup, read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints, to run copper piping and PVC
Experience with hot water systems, chilled water systems, VAV, VRF systems, Boilers, steam heating systems
Understanding and ability to work with various chillers - air cooled, water cooled, hot water systems, chilled water
systems, VAV systems, steam heating systems and building automation control systems
Fan coil units, RTU, boilers - Gas fired, condensing boilers- low pressure.
Providing excellent customer service, and troubleshooting, problem solving, diagnosing and replacement recommendations for refrigeration and heating systems
Will need to interpret engineering drawings in reference to layout, location and operation of the system(s).
Advise Service Coordinator of preventive maintenance inspections performed and corrective actions to be taken.
PM & repair and assist in change outs of Commercial, Rooftop packages up to 30 tons and split units.
Service Cooling Towers, Heat Pumps, Split systems, pneumatic control systems
Requirements
Troubleshoot and maintain package units, high tonnage chillers, pump towers, cooling towers control systems, high tonnage boilers
Mechanical skills required to work on a variety of complex HVAC systems including fans, compressors, motor bearings, refrigeration circuits, burner set up, heat wheels, etc.
Comfortable working around 5-ton to 200-ton package RTU’s, and 200 ton chillers
Lift & move 75 lbs
Have hand tools
5 years experience working with commercial HVAC systems, Controls, startup and refrigeration.
Will need experience with boilers, chillers, and pneumatic controls, digital controls and packaged HVAC equipment.
Universal EPA certified
Journeyman HVAC preferred but not required.
Clean driving record, and able to pass a background check
