Position: Part-time Retail Sales Associate

Responsibilities

· Provide excellent customer service with a friendly and empathetic approach, resolving issues in a friendly manner

· Assist customers in finding the perfect gifts, and provide knowledgeable recommendations

· Maintain a visually appealing and well-organized store environment

· Restock shelves and manage inventory to ensure product availability

· Assist with merchandising, creating attractive display, and setting up promotional materials

· Be able to lift up to 40lbs, climb ladders to access and organize merchandise, handle other physical tasks as needed

· Operate the point-of-sale system, process transactions accurately, and have the ability

to solve minor register issues

· Collaborate w/team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work atmosphere

Qualifications

· Previous retail and merchandising experience a plus

· Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with a diverse range of customers

· Demonstrated ability to empathize with customers and provide outstanding service

· Must be comfortable climbing ladders, and lifting up to 40lbs

· Proficiency w/computers and pos systems, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies

· Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

· Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.85 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
