BOOKKEEPER & HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATOR

Position Summary:
This is a fast paced multi-functional position covering Bookkeeping, Human Resources and Administrative responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
• Process AR and AP invoices ensuring prices, terms of payment, taxes and other charges are accurate and assigned to the appropriate GL accounts
• Match customer payments with invoices, process cash receipts and make electronic bank deposits
• Ensure bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
• Accurately record all financial transactions in ERP system
• Interact with customers and vendors to handle general inquiries, payments, refunds and statements
• Maintain employee records in ERP and payroll systems with the highest regard for confidentiality
• Employee benefits administration including enrollments, terminations and invoice audits
• Complete employment verifications for current and past employees
• Administer programs designed to maximize employee recruiting, retention and safety
• Interoffice support including answering phones and greeting visitors
• Collate and distribute mail and incoming faxes
• Maintain organized filing systems, both electronic and physical
• Organize and facilitate employee events
• Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
• 2 years of bookkeeping experience
• Skilled with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment, IQMS is preferred
• Exemplary confidentiality, integrity and good judgement
• Ability to research topics and issues when necessary
• Ability to communicate complex data clearly
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, problem-solving and analytical skills
• Team player able to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure who is motivated to learn and take on new challenges
