RCI is currently seeking a seasoned Business Developer to join our team, one well entrenched in the local market(s) who can aggressively assist in expanding our landscape business.

Requirements:

• Assist with development of proposals catered to customers’ needs
• Ability to sell across multi-divisional disciplines including maintenance, landscape, and construction services.

Responsibilities:

• Cultivate strong business relationships with key decision makers
• Work in a fast-paced environment while operating with a high sense of urgency
• Work well with the operations team members, leveraging their expertise with yours
• Proactively identify new opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to customers
• Develop market strategies by researching lists of high potential prospects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business
• 3 years' of sales or account management experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in the service industry
• Experience managing multiple projects and able to multi-task in a large territory
• Knowledge of the Green Industry
• Extensive face-to-face (B2B) selling experience
• PROVEN track record of sales goal attainment in a longer selling cycle environment
• Highly competitive, positive, and results driven salesperson
• Local knowledge and contacts in one or more market segments preferred
