The right candidate is detail-oriented and well organized, with academic training or experience in economics, statistics, data science, or environmental science. Candidates that possess a background in environmental sciences or human health risk will also have opportunities to work on projects outside of the ECA practice. Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with quantitative analysis involving the use of statistical/data software (e.g. Python, R, STATA, MS Excel, MS Access, SQL, etc.)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Meticulous attention to detail required
- Strong research, communication and writing skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in either a remote or office environment.
- Experience using legal database and research software, including Westlaw preferred
- Experience in general litigation and expert services support preferred
- Quantitative data analysis, including damage model development and economic analysis
- Review legal documents and conduct research to identify and collect relevant information to develop data to be analyzed.
- Organizing and maintaining a case information sharing process.
- Researching emerging litigation trends for business development purposes.
- Assessing legal allegations based on a review of underlying documentation.
- Performing case-specific research and preparing related reports.
- Supports expert services deliverables.
