Position Title: Center for Smart Building Technology Workforce Associate

The RCC Center for Smart Building Technology (C4SBT) prepares a highly skilled workforce to implement sustainable, high-performance, and energy-efficient smart building practices. Our mission is to contribute to Boston's 2050 carbon-neutral goal with urgency and environmental equity. We aim to provide access and increased opportunities for successful careers in the energy efficiency industry, especially among marginalized communities, individuals with disabilities, protected veterans, and LGBTQ members aged 18-25, fostering an ecosystem of support and excellence.
The Smart Building Technology Workforce Associate, reporting to the Assistant Director of the Center for Smart Building Technology (C4SBT), is responsible for supporting the overall operations of C4SBT. This versatile role involves assisting students, team members, visitors, other RCC offices, and external organizations as needed, ensuring consistent, efficient, high-quality, and customer-focused day-to-day office operations. The Workforce Associate will provide C4SBT students with various services, including program information, application guidance, course registration assistance, appointment scheduling, and referrals to other RCC departments. Under the direction of the Assistant Director, the Workforce Associate will also play a crucial role in grant administration, special projects, event planning, information gathering for research and marketing, data collection, and report development.
This position is grant-funded for two years, with the potential for extension.

Compensation (Salary Range): $60,000.00-$65,000.00 (Commensurate with experience and qualifications)
