Position SummaryThis position will support the Destination Intelligence team in Destination Development and will be responsible for ensuring that the Destination Development team and company are well-informed of what is happening around the world as it relates to development opportunities and possibilities to progress destination-related brand objectives. They will act as a liaison between team members within the Destination Development department to develop and maintain holistic reports and correspondence. They will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of database, workflow automation, and reporting tools. This person will work closely with internal organizations within RCG such as Government Relations, External Affairs, Deployment, Private Destinations, Port Operations, Marine Operations, and Shore Excursions in order to maintain an accurate, accountable database. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborates in the creation of monthly and quarterly executive updates that summarizes the latest status of the corporate-wide destination development overarching strategy
Develop a summary of each new development opportunity that includes key stakeholders, business goals, destination goals, and business value
Responsible for creating processes to improve communication efficiency internally
Maintain a database of each of the destinations in which RCG operates or may operate, allowing us to recognize opportunities before they are public, understand potential roadblocks, and build our partnership with the destinations
Analyzes consumer research feedback with market trends past and present to develop the improvement strategy of each destination
Perform industry and financial research analysis as-needed
Design, develop, implement, and maintain a catalog of databases and analytic applications that house all destination-related information
Integrating and analyzing data from multiple sources using such tools as Hyperion Interactive Reports, Toad, Essbase and Java script.
Perform data analyses to address complex business questions
Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in business, data management, or other related fields; 1 to 2 years of business analytics experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver high quality, clear and concise presentations
Pro-active and collaborative approach.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
PowerBI, SQL, or other reporting & dashboarding skills preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver high quality, clear and concise presentations
Ability to learn new tools
Attention to detail required
Ability to operate in a team environment
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse group of co-workers
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with ability to handle multiple projects.
