Royal Credit Union is seeking an experienced professional to serve on our team as an Accountant III. This position is a key role that helps support the organization and will provide ample growth and development opportunities for the individual selected. Hourly Wage:
$28.32 - $33.40 per hour (candidates with significant related experience may be higher)
The pay range shown represents the Chippewa Valley pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
Description:
Royal’s Accountant III will reconcile various credit union accounts to the general ledger, manage fixed assets and prepaid expenses, work on accounting projects and corporate projects as a subject matter expert. Responsible for tax reporting and various government reporting. Perform accounting duties and reporting in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and state and federal regulations. Provide backup coverage for Accounting department team members including, but not limited to, corporate payroll processing, accounts payable, investor loan remitting and reporting, and additional coverage tasks.
Work Schedule:
Full-time working Monday – Friday between 8:30 AM – 5 PM with additional hours as needed.
***Prior to starting normal schedule, candidate must attend full time training from 9:00am - 4:30pm, Monday and Tuesday during their first week at our Corporate Center in Eau Claire, WI. Lodging, Meals and Mileage provided during this required training.

Required Education/Experience/Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience.
• Experience working in Finance/Accounting.
• Communicate and live RCU's core purpose and values, these define and drive our organizational culture.

Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:

• Bachelor's of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience working in a financial institution.
• Payroll processing experience.
