Job description
The Customer Service Specialist position involves two main responsibilities: data entry and providing exceptional customer service through phone and email interaction. Other responsibilities may include general office tasks and possible help in other departments. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Must be available until 5:30pm Monday through Thursday. While this position is entry level, there is tremendous potential for advancement for the right candidate. Great work environment with excellent pay including quarterly bonus potential.
Minimum Experience/Requirements:
- A courteous, professional and customer focused attitude with the ability to empathize with the support needs of all clients.
- Ability to work successfully within fast-past environment.
- Ability to use critical thinking to handle challenging tasks.
- Sense of urgency to ensure daily work is done efficiently and effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks appropriately.
- At least 3 years’ previous experience in data entry.
- At least 3 years’ experience interacting with customers and co-workers in an office setting environment and/or over the phone.
- Clinical, technical, or administrative dental experience a plus, but not required.
A preferred basic understanding of:
- Desktop/laptop computer hardware and peripherals (keyboard, mice, printers, etc.)
- Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Minimum Education:
Work experience may substitute education, but college degree is the preferred minimum education level.
