We are currently seeking a full time Maintenance Technician with the ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical & electrical issues including PLC problems on manufacturing and facilities equipment; perform and develop preventative (PM) & Predictive (PdM) maintenance procedures; implement Continuous Improvement Actions throughout the facility; lead other Technicians and contractors in machine setup, troubleshooting and repairs; and train operator on basic maintenance skills to develop a true Autonomous Maintenance system.

Requirements

Competency:

· Highly safety conscious

· Able to work well with all levels of personnel whether individually or in a team environment

· Interface and communicate with different levels of management

· Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service

Education and/or Experience:

· Associated degree in Industrial Systems, Mechatronics, or equivalent field with three years’ experience in manufacturing; or High School Diploma or GED with seven years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.

· Personal Computer System Skills required (MS Office Suite preferred)

Language Skills:

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals 

· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence 

· Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization

Reasoning Ability:

· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form 

· Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
