Job Description :
The Lead Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in overseeing the clinical operations of our medical assistants. This individual will ensure efficient workflow, provide training and support to the team, and maintain the highest standards of patient care.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent clinical knowledge, and a passion for improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of medical assistants.
- Assist in patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and performing routine diagnostic tests.
- Provide training and mentorship to new and existing medical assistants.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to optimize clinic operations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff meetings.
Qualifications :
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and healthcare regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred

- Ability to perform wound care and dressings
- Familiarity with medical billing and coding procedures
