Royal Suites Healthcare and Rehabilitation, located at 214 w. Jimmie Leeds Rd, in Galloway, NJ is seeking a Full-time maintenance technician. Under the direction of the Director of Maintenance, the Maintenance Mechanic will perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks at 214 west Jimmie Leeds Road.
Tasks include maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, telecommunications, HVAC and atmospheric control systems. Interested and qualified may apply online or stop by and fill out a paper application.The duties of this position include but are not limited to: Responds to paging requests from facility personnel for normal repairs and is alert to possible emergencies such as oxygen bottle replacement, busted pipes, leaking gas, overflowing toilets, broken call bells.
QualificationsAll of these are priorities and should be responded to as such. Checks frequently for work orders in the maintenance mailbox and completes these in a timely manner. Takes random temperatures on hot water faucets and logs temperatures on the appropriate form. Performs inspections of fire extinguishers at the beginning of the month. Maintains a wheelchair log on repairs and services performed. Communicates with family members when needed as part of the continuing philosophy of providing the best possible care and customer service.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Mechanical aptitude.
Proficiency in plumbing, electricity, air conditioning, painting, sheet rock and tile repair.
Ability To Read Blueprints And Schematics PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to use hand and power tools as required in a safe and professional manner; individual must possess own hand and power tools.
Ability to lift 80 pounds.
