Royal Truck & Equipment (an Alamo Group company) is currently accepting application to fill an Administrative Assistant position at our facility in Shoemakersville, PA. Under the supervision of the Company President, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for the day to day activities of the front office. Essential Functions Of The Job
Answer the multi-line phone system in a pleasant and timely manner, and direct calls to the appropriate department or individual
Greet customers and visitors at the front desk in a pleasant and timely manner, and notify the appropriate department or individual of the visitor
Prepare mail and parcels daily along with opening and delivering mail
Assisting other departments with filing and administrative duties as required
Process office supply orders; ensure proper stocking of items
Assist employees with operating the fax machine and photocopier
Process and mail invoices daily
Typing various items to possibly include: decals, labels for new truck orders and bills of lading
Assist Senior Leadership Team with clerical support or projects as required
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned from supervisor
The Ideal Candidate Will Have/be
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent computer skills; knowledge with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and Epicor
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Working knowledge of office equipment including fax machine, photocopier, multi-line phone system
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
The ability to get along well with various departments and individuals of various levels of the company
Education And ExperienceCertificate or Diploma in Office Administration or a combination of education and related experience in an office environment. Working ConditionsPrimarily in an office environment indoors with frequent sitting for extended periods of time with occasional walking in and around the main office building.
