Host/Host Job Description

We are a Muslim family owned restaurant serving mediterranean food with a modern twist. Our casual upscale restaurant will also include a juice bar with plenty of choices for our guests.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their assigned tables or waiting areas
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials
- Answer phone calls and take reservations
- Manage the waitlist and notify guests when their table is ready
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Assist with seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of dining space
- Communicate with kitchen staff regarding special requests or dietary restrictions
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
- Collaborate with servers and other restaurant staff to provide excellent customer service

Skills:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Strong guest relations and customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with POS systems, such as Toast POS, is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Knowledge of proper phone and dress etiquette

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift

Weekly day range:

• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed
• Weekends only
