Pharmacy Technician (Days/Evenings) - 8 Weeks with Potential for Direct Hire
Position: Pharmacy Technician
Duration: 8 weeks, with a chance for direct hire
Work Environment: Closed Door Mail Order Pharmacy
Location: Virginia Beach, VA
Shift:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Rotating weekends
- 8-hour shifts within the time range
- 1-hour lunch break
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently
- Handle mail order prescriptions and ensure timely delivery
- Assist pharmacists with daily tasks and maintain proper records
- Follow all safety and quality standards in a closed-door environment
- Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and healthcare providers
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Long-Term Care (LTC) experience is a plus
- Valid Virginia Pharmacy Technician License
