Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team. This position will support the processing and fulfillment of prescriptions and assist pharmacists in ensuring accurate and timely delivery of medication to our patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in pharmacy operations, excel in a fast-paced environment, and be committed to providing the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation, dispensing, and management of prescriptions.
• Process prescription orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Utilize our pharmacy management software to manage patient data and prescription details.
• Support inventory management tasks such as stocking shelves and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and team members to resolve issues and provide updates on prescription status.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, maintaining the confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

Pharmacy Hours:

• Monday-Saturday must be flexible
• Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 6:00pm
• Saturday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
• 30 hours per week based on hours of operation

Qualifications:

• 1 years of previous Pharmacy Technician experience
• Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the State of NY preferred
• PTCB or NHC preferred
• Mail Order/Specialty pharmacy experience a plus
