ContractJob Description: The Data Product Manager provides business intelligence support by delivering both repeatable and ad hoc reports (charts, graphs, tables, etc.) that enable informed business decisions. This role focuses on analyzing performance, establishing standardized reporting methods, and managing enterprise data processes.
Responsibilities
- Mine operations and sales data to drive actionable insights at product, category, and business levels.
- Conduct deep dive analyses to answer key business questions related to the eCommerce platform.
- Leverage data to identify trends and future opportunities to improve customer experience and drive revenue growth using predictive modeling techniques.
- Collaborate with business units to understand and translate data-driven initiatives into actionable ideas, determining priorities based on business strategy and vision.
- Build and maintain new reports or enhance existing reports for the team.
- Design and support the development of new data pipelines or enhance existing ones by partnering with engineering teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data issues for the team.
- Manage operational data requests and provide visibility into tracking data for emerging issues reported by sites.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 5 years of hands-on experience in Data Analytics or Data Product Management roles.
- Proficient in data manipulation using Advanced SQL.
- Experience in eCommerce and/or Customer Service domains.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and data presentation skills.
