JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Position: Quality Control Technician

Department: Manufacturing

Reports to: Manufacturing Plant Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a bilingual Quality Control Technician who is proficient in reading blueprints and has excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections of both completed components and components in production ensuring compliance with technical requirements and industry standards.

Position Information:

  • Non-exempt
  • Compensation commensurate with experience
  • Location: 70-80% in Gainesville and 20-30% at our main facility in the Coppell/Grapevine area

Key responsibilities include:

· Review and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements

· Conduct on-site inspections to verify work quality and adherence to specifications

· Communicate findings to project managers, engineers, and other team members

· Document inspection results and prepare detailed reports

· Provide recommendations for corrective actions as necessary

· Collaborate with team members to ensure project success

· Develop efficient and robust inspection procedures

Requirements

· High school diploma or GED required

· Solid understanding of test equipment

· Minimum of 2 years of inspection and/or production experience, preferably in manufacturing environment

· Strong working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions

· Ability to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds occasionally

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

· Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Spanish

· Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information
