Overview
The Geospatial Science and Technology (GST) program in the Technology practice area of RTI International's Social, Statistical and Environmental Sciences (SSES) Unit is collecting resumes for experienced Geospatial Analysts for an upcoming project.
The Geospatial Analyst will perform GIS functions including overlay analysis, data import / export, development of geospatial databases, conversion of GIS data among various formats, develop a sequence of GIS techniques to complete moderately complex GIS analyses and modify existing or create new programs using Python or similar.
RTI anticipates filling two (2) positions (full time and / or part time) in each of the defined regions. Candidates may work remotely from a coastal community anywhere in the defined region in the United States.
These regions are : the Great Lakes, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, Southeast and Caribbean, Gulf, West, and Pacific Islands.

Qualifications
Minimum of a Master’s degree with at least 3 years of experience analyzing geographic information about the earth’s coasts, oceans, and Great Lakes or equivalent.
Equivalent education / experience is a Bachelor’s degree and 6 years.
