The Quality Assurance Mechanical Testing Lab Technician is responsible for performing testing according to RTP Company test methods including Tensile, Flexural, Impact, Shrinkage, Die-cut Tensile, Die-cut Tear, Shore-A and Shore-D Hardness on molded specimens provided by the QA Lab Molding Technician. This person is also trained to back-up the QA Lab In-Process Technician and is required to perform pellet testing on both In-Process samples and Finished Products. Some limited calculations will be required, as is excellent attention to detail. The individual will follow the lead of the Quality Assurance Manager to perform additional assignments as needed.
