The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services team:

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual within the RTX Enterprise Services Compliance & Controllership team (ESC&C). This organization offers opportunity for motivated individual to be part of a growing accounting department and develop processes to sustain flexibility as business needs change. Job responsibilities subject to change based upon alignment of processes within developing organization.

What You Will Do:

• Performing monthly closing activities related to Intercompany and Intracompany reconciliation and journal entries.
• Analyze SAP sub-ledger accounts in the area of Accounts Payable to identify inter-entity sales and receipts transaction matching.
• Manage the SAP Sub-ledger accounts in the area of Accounts Receivable, including misc. cross entity charges.
• Prepare foreign payments through RTX Treasury Netting system to settle payment.
• Analyze and perform Intercompany Semi-Annual Clearing of Domestic RTX entities and subsidiaries.
• Prepare netting details and payment details for entities.
• Contribute to development of ES by bringing innovative solutions within the knowledge base and work of the department; actively participate in process improvement activities and projects.
• Reconciliation of intercompany related accounts within Blackline.
• Other tasks as assigned by group leader.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• This position requires access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship
• Candidates must be located in and willing to work in a hybrid capacity from an RTX hub in Farmington, CT, Cedar Rapids, IA, or Richardson, TX. Please consider the following role type definitions as you apply for this role: Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Knowledge of or experience with current finance and accounting systems and month end close procedures
• CPA a plus
• Operational Finance experience preferred
• Knowledge and reporting experience with SAP and HFM/OneStream
• Strong analytical, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain a service-oriented demeanor with professionalism in sensitive and challenging situations

The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
