Brief Department DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Payroll Reporting Senior Manager with extensive experience in ADP Payroll systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll reporting processes using ADP EV5 and other systems, providing insightful analysis of payroll data, and assisting in the development and implementation of payroll reporting systems and procedures.
Job DescriptionWhat you will do: Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Utilize ADP payroll software to generate and analyze payroll reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to extract and reconcile payroll data from various sources into ADP, ensuring consistency and completeness.
  • Develop and maintain standardized reporting templates and dashboards within ADP regular payroll reporting needs.
  • Identify trends, variances, and discrepancies in ADP payroll data and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Support ADP payroll audits by providing documentation and analysis as needed.
  • Assist in the implementation of ADP payroll system upgrades or enhancements, including testing and validation of new features.
  • Stay informed about changes in ADP payroll regulations, updates, and best practices, ensuring payroll reporting processes remain compliant.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis within ADP to support decision-making by senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding ADP and Workday payroll data and reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to troubleshoot and resolve ADP and Workday payroll reporting system issues.
  • Must be able to operate with minimal support.
  • Must be able to generate Payroll Reports on (Daily, Monthly, Weekly, Quarterly) cadence from ADP and other global systems.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • A minimum 10 years prior relevant experience gained in a large corporate, multinational Payroll setting , or a Master’s Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience relevant experience
  • Strong experience in payroll reporting or related roles with a strong emphasis on ADP payroll systems
  • Proficiency in ADP payroll software, including ADP Workforce Now or ADP Vantage, ADP EV5 , with a deep understanding of their reporting capabilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of Bureau of Labor and Statistics (BLS) Reporting
  • Knowledge of ADP payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex ADP payroll data sets and identify trends and patterns.
  • Expertise in Structured Query Language (SQL) skills
  • Expertise in extracting, transformation, and loading data using SQL, PL/SQL and Stored Procedures and Functions
Education Experience Skills And Certifications
  • A bachelors degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
Required Immigration Status (work Authorization)
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Professional certification such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is preferred.
  • ADP payroll system implementations and process improvements is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data visualization techniques.
  • Should be able to write SQRs
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
