Firm Description:
Medium sized, midtown-based law firm, is seeking an associate attorney that is admitted to practice in New York. The firm was founded over 20 years ago and services many different types of insurance clients, across different types of insurance related practices.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate has prior experience in insurance related legal matters, whether on the defense, or plaintiff side. Prior general litigation experience in the New York Courts will also be beneficial.
The firm will also consider newly bar-admitted attorneys with no experience, or attorneys with no experience specific to the field.
The firm handles mostly insurance defense consultancy and litigation. The candidate will be trained by senior members of the firm and will ultimately end up managing a load of cases, conducting depositions, appearing in court.
The firm is currently partially remote on a fixed schedule. New associates are encouraged to be in the office regularly for training purposes.
The position is full time and is for an attorney continuing, or seeking, a career in this field.

Salary: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year commensurate with experience

The office is currently open with a rotating schedule for attorneys. Associates are in the office three days per week minimum. Remote access is provided for days when the employees are working from home.
