We are looking for a Tax Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced, high performing tax department in Palo Alto, CA. This individual will focus on a variety of Income Tax responsibilities and will report directly to the Tax Sr. Manager. The ideal candidate will have public accounting experience with a CPA and have a strong working knowledge of ASC740 & US Income Tax Compliance. This is a great opportunity that will allow for career growth as the Company continues to grow!
What You’ll Do
- Prepare worldwide quarterly & annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740
- Prepare US federal & state income tax returns
- Maintain income tax balance sheet & income statement accounts and reconcile balances monthly
- Assist with external audit requirements for quarterly reviews and annual audits.
- Partner with cross functional teams including Finance, Accounting, IT, Legal, and Technical Accounting to ensure tax processes are complete, streamlined, and scalable.
- Provide support for various tax projects, as necessary.
- BS in Accounting, with CPA certification preferred
- 3-5 years of public accounting experience in corporate taxation
- ASC 740 knowledge, with experience preparing and reviewing corporate income tax returns, provisions, and reporting disclosures for forms 10-Q and 10-K.
- Excellent attention to detail, prioritization skills and analytical/problem solving skills
- Must be a self-starter, team player and able to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment and comply with tight deadlines
- Superior organization and verbal/communication skills
US Pay Range
$107,900—$161,900 USD
