What We're Looking ForRuffleButts is excited to add a Wholesale Sales Representative to our growing sales team! This person will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities and building strong relationships through outbound phone, email, and online orders. You will contribute to the growth of our business by focusing on both winning new business as well as growing existing customer relationships. The ideal candidate for this role should be driven by results through effective sales, and eager to make customers happy through outstanding customer service.
Requirements
- Assist Specialty accounts with online marketplace account setup
- Qualify applicants by researching their company and talking with the store owner/buyer
- Explain our company's vendor requirements and check for understanding from applicants prior to approving their application.
- Follow up with approved customers to assist them in placing orders while identifying products to cross-sell, up-sell and add-on.
- Monitor market, customer, and consumer trends that impact the business.
- Utilizing internal tools; provide stellar customer service and support to existing customers, with the end-goal of generating additional reorder business.
- Remain current on department and individual goals to ensure company objectives are being met.
- Act as a liaison between departments to ensure orders are processed internally to meet delivery guarantees made to vendors.
- Work on sales pipeline and use tools to accurately monitor progress of your efforts.
- Coordinate with various departments within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely fashion.
- 3 years of B2B sales and/or phone-based customer service.
- Experience in the apparel industry is strongly preferred.
- Background in account management and existing business development preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills to successfully manage internal and external relationships is a must.
- Solid relationship building, negotiation and closing skills.
- Proficient in utilizing multiple computer applications simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks & identify roadblocks with a strong desire to achieve results.
